This is a critiqued directory categorized by geographical areas of Kansas City from North to South. This directory of restaurants, bars and activities in no way wants to represent itself as complete, the whole of Kansas City, or law. This directory is a compilation of recommended experiences shared through the TKC Team throughout the past 14 years of tours. Everyday we continue to look for an “Experience”. We wander about town seeking the places that still operate with heart, passion, or the inspirations that make Kansas City vibrant and enjoyable today. We look for authenticity, character and artisanal places within their respective industries. We at TKC understand tastes may differ, as well as businesses can have an “off day”. Rankings are allowed re-evalutions once per calendar year upon request at which point a minimum of two TKC members or two unannounced visits will take place with the newest review updated.
