North but not too far North. North Kansas City is it’s own town separate from Kansas City -and it acts like it! NKC has grown beyond being a small river town. Though NKC may be small geographically, it has heavily built in entertainment from places like Chicken and Pickle and The Rino, Sail Away Wine to Iron District and back. It’s nestled placement between the Northland of Kansas City and City Market has made it a fun sit n’ sip area of town.

Chicken & Pickle 1761 Burlington St, North Kansas City, MO 64116

Chicken and Pickle is a piece of the adult amusement park feel. It’s known to entertain the adults while keeping the kids busy. Chicken and Pickle has a wholesome family environment but between the adrenaline of the the pickle ball and the sugary drinks, its easy to watch the dockers get bunched and become tired of the overpriced and inauthentic options. However, just like sand volleyball, with enough of the right people and sunscreen, it can be a fun and entertaining afternoon.
